A guide for EC delegations
‘As we intensify our efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, let us take action to reduce maternal mortality and achieve universal access to reproductive health by 2015. Let us devote greater attention and resources to the work to improve the health and quality of life for all people.’
Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General, 2008
The guidebook “What about Reproductive Health?” is designed to help EC delegations to easily integrate reproductive health into their existing portfolios including general budget support and sector development programmes, but also to assist with financing proposals and agreements, calls for proposals, tenders and other documents. It is an easy to use reference and offers recommendations within existing policy and programme frameworks.

In Germany and Europe it raises awareness about the close links between sustainable development, poverty, health, environmental protection and demographic trends.
