In 2005, the Czech Republic spent € 103 million on Official Development Assistance (ODA), which corresponds to 0.11% of its gross national income (GNI). Bilateral aid accounted for 42% of the total, and 58% was multilateral.

Funding programmes:

NGOs can apply for financial support under the following funding programmes:

Project co-funding:
This instrument co-finances projects proposed by NGOs, private companies, expert institutions, universities and line ministries.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Grant Scheme for NGOs: It co-finances small projects regarding development education in the Czech Republic.

The Czech-UNDP Trust Fund: It finances projects implemented by Czech NGOs and individual consultants.
