Calls for Proposals

The Calls on the following budget lines are usually open for organizations and projects interested in SRHR. For further details on any of these Calls or corrigenda see the EuropeAid website:

Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development - Coordination, Cooperation and Networking Activities in Europe: To foster synergies and facilitate a dialogue in the area of development between civil society networks and EC institutions.
- In Europe, until 02.04.2008, budget: € 4,000,000.

Promoting youth exchanges and other people-to-people contacts: To improve the Cypriote civil society’s understanding of European values, experiences and multi-cultural traditions by attending conferences, exchanges, study visits, internships or training sessions (health is eligible).
- In Europe, until 10.04.2008, budget: € 1,500,000.

European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR): To strengthen the role of civil society in promoting Human Rights and democratic reform and to consolidating political participation and representation.
- In Gaza and the West Bank, forecast, budget: € 900,000.
- In Sierra Leone, forecast, budget: € 600,000.
- In Ukraine, until 07.04.2008, budget: € 1,200,000.

Environment and sustainable management of natural resources: to implement actions in the following fields: forests, climate change and biodiversity desertification and sustainable energy.
- All developing countries, until 21.02.2008, budget: € 29,272,900.

Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development: to raise public awareness and education for development in Europe.
- In Europe, until 19.02.2008, budget: € 29,000,000.
